I enjoyed the sambal petai udang a lot. It's very close to the Penang / northern style. In fact, I think it's better than the one I tried a couple of weeks ago.
RM16.90 for set, with rice, stir fried vegetables, two tiny slices of watermelon, MSG laden soup, and some weird brown thingy which I think must be some kind of fish cake?
Cendol, RM5.00. One of the worst cendol I've ever had. Not the slightest hint of gula melaka (palm sugar) at all, just some ordinary syrup and plain, stiff, green noodle devoid of any pandan flavor, and very coarse shaved ice. Yuck. Only the kidney beans were good - nice and soft, yet whole.
This item should totally be taken off the menu to save themselves the embarrassment!
