My buddy Joshua brought us to this great fish head steamboat place in North Bridge Road, Singapore. The fish was fresh with natural sweetness. The stock was superb with no added MSG in the soup as far as I could tell.
Fish head steamboat...yum yum.

Pork ribs with salted egg
Special homemade beancurd
Cuttlefish kang kong
Braised pig intestine
The steamboat, 4 side dishes and 5 coconut drink cost S$108.

Ding Tai Fung, Malaysia
Wonderful lunch at Ding Tai Fung, Pavillion, Malaysia. Been to the one in Mid Valley Megamall as well.
For the main courses, we ordered two different La Mian :
Shrimp wanton La Mian
Chicken soup La Mian
And of course the "must" order in Ding Tai Fung:
Mini "Xiao Long Bao". Not the usual type but rather slightly smaller ones. Still great but I think I will stick to the usual type.
Ginger sliver in black vinegar. I normally bite the tip of the xiao long bao then suck the juice inside, then dip the xiao long bao in the vinegar, add some ginger slivers on the xiao long bao before eating it :)
Nai Pak with shrimps
For desserts, we ordered these. Both were with yam. :D...I just love yam/taro. :P
Yam/taro paste with gingko nuts, yum yum!
Yam/taro bao. It looks like xiao long bao but with yam/taro inside.
The 6 items above, plus two hot Chinese Tea (free flow), came to about RM67.00, but that was after a 30% discount. Not sure how but I received an SMS discount voucher from them :D
If you go on your birthday, just inform them and you will get a discount too!

Huck's Cafe Gives Back!
Huck's Cafe Gives Back, again! In an effort to help House of Joy rebuild its shelter home in Puchong that was damaged in a fire on Dec 31, 2011, Huck organized a charity dinner on Feb 22, 2012. All the payments collected on this night would be donated to House of Joy. Guests could just pay the usual RM 88 per pax but they all chose to pay more to contribute to the home. A total donation of RM4,875 was collected and handed over to Miss Leslie in an envelope on the same night!
If you think you can help in any way at all, do not hesitate to call Lesley Mah at 019-3392847.
Before I forget, Huck's kitchen crew, Siti and maid, Dian donated RM200 each. That is a big chunk out of their monthly salaries. Siti and Dian, you two are angels!
