T@ste6 in Swiss Garden Residences

Seafood buffet dinner at T@ste6 (pronounced Taste at 6). Note that this restaurant is in Swiss Garden Residences, not Swiss Garden Hotel. Seafood buffet is only available during weekend. RM78++ for adult and RM38++ for children.

There was only one type of sashimi i.e salmon. No raw oyster here though except the cheese baked oysters at the BBQ/outdoor section.

Modern, trendy interior.

Salmon sashimi and "artificial" scallops.

Potato salad, mussel, prawns, a couple of different cheeses.

Chicken and beef satay. The nasi himpit was half cooked.

Salt baked salmon. The most awesome dish of the time!

This salt baked salmon was so tender and juicy and flavorful! Yum!

BBQ'ed seafood.

Dessert section:

I tried only a few local kuih's, and some Western desserts. Generally okay but the worst was the creme brulee. Not caramelized on top, and runny/watery inside.

My friend and I much preferred this place than Flavors in Swiss Garden Hotel.

Seafood buffet - Flavors@ Swiss Garden

Five of us went for seafood buffet in Flavors restaurant, Swiss Garden Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. I thought it was a good deal since we only had to pay RM49 if we purchase the deal on LivingSocial. I was wrong!

Very good first impression, but it went straight downhill from there.

Sashimi and prawns

Only two types of shashimi....very disappointing I must say. Shogun has more selections than this 4 star hotel.

The oysters looked particularly pathetic. All of us agreed that they tasted bitter and unfresh. Two of my friends either had nausea and/or purging that night.
