Huck's Cafe Gives Back, again! In an effort to help House of Joy rebuild its shelter home in Puchong that was damaged in a fire on Dec 31, 2011, Huck organized a charity dinner on Feb 22, 2012. All the payments collected on this night would be donated to House of Joy. Guests could just pay the usual RM 88 per pax but they all chose to pay more to contribute to the home. A total donation of RM4,875 was collected and handed over to Miss Leslie in an envelope on the same night!

Before I forget, Huck's kitchen crew, Siti and maid, Dian donated RM200 each. That is a big chunk out of their monthly salaries. Siti and Dian, you two are angels!

The House of Joy in Puchong crumbled after a fire gutted the two-storey building on Dec 31, 2011, leaving 35 underprivileged children in tears and homeless.

The kids just loved these body art stickers and colorful rulers! It really doesn't take much to make them happy so let's start giving, however little!

Chocolate Banana Kahlua ice cream. Another new fave of mine but I am torn between this and Sheenies Chocolate Almond Cake, and part of me is still deeply in love with old flames like chocolate durian mud pie ice cream, chocolate banana brownie ice cream, and creme brulee.




The irresistible Sheenies - chocolate almond cake. No flour, just egg white, almonds and chocolate. The melted chocolate oozes out as you slice it! Drool!
