Ah Boy Teochew Porridge

I forgot how salty the salted fish was and took too much of it :P


You can go for either the plain Teochew porridge


Or the type with sweet potato!

Sin Hup Kee restaurant Puchong

Sin Hup Kee restaurant, Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Tofu with minced meat - it was quite decent.


Stir fried Chinese lettuce with fermented bean curd 腐乳油麦 - not too bad.


Steamed grouper fish head with minced ginger - really just so so only.




Signature stir fried chicken干煎鸡 - The worst dish of all. The chicken was really dry, tough and chewy!


The four dishes above with two herbal drink - RM70.35. There is really nothing here that makes me want to go back again.

First course:

四热荤 Four Hors D'oeuvres.






Second course:

Sharks-fin with scallop and crab meat. 干贝蟹肉包翅




Third course:
Chaat sing baan 七星斑 (steamed leopard coral grouper)




Fourth course:

Golden prawns 黄金虾
 



Fifth course:

红烧蹄根拌带子 Braised scallops




Sixth course:

花蜜香片焗鸡 Baked fragrant honey chicken



Seventh course:

香叶腊鸭糯米饭 Glutinous rice with preserved duck




Eighth course:

冻龙眼云头莲子羹 Cold longan, lotus seeds and fungus.




8-course dinner is RM888 nett. Excl drinks and appetizer. The total was RM912.70 for 12 persons, which came to RM 76.05 each. It's supposed to be for ten pax but there is enough food for 12 pax, or even 13!
