My friends have been telling me that the dim sum in Jin Xuan is great but I never had a chance to try it until a couple of days ago. Well, they were right. I loved all the items we ordered.
The food will only be steamed/fried only after you have placed your order. This way, you know the food won't be overcooked because they have to be kept warm in steamer. This will also ensure maximum freshness!
Siu Mai
Fu Chuk roll (Bamboo fungus shrimp dumpling)
Lau Sar Pao (Golden Bun)
Har Gaw (Shrimp dumpling)
Shrimp chu cheong fun (Shrimp rice roll)
Lor Pak Gou (Fried turnip cake)
Pei Dan Chuk (century egg porridge)
Every thing was fresh and yummy. I didn't feel thirsty at all after eating so I figured there was no MSG in the food.
Price: All the dishes you see above, plus two glasses of Lor Hon Kor herbal drinks, came to RM42.80. Pretty reasonable for the kind of ambiance and food quality. I will definitely come back here more often!

Soong Kee Beef Noodle
I have tried Soong Kee beef ball noodle in Lot 10 Hutong a couple of times before but never at the original shop until not too long ago (428).
Soong Kee minced pork noodle and beef ball soup.
Noodle with minced pork Address:
Beef Balls in soup.
Both the beef balls and the noodle were good. I couldn't tell any difference between the original shop and the one in Lot 10 Hutong. I must admit I am not a big fan of beef balls though. I still prefer real, minimally processed beef parts, like this and this.
It's air conditioned inside and quite clean.
This is what it looks like from the outside.
And we were all yellow on that day i.e 428!!!
In the evening, Loa Yau Kee porridge stall will start operating right outside this restaurant.
