You can see immediately that the cendol noodle is almost jelly-like and translucent.

Now compare it to the cendol noodle at Penang Road Lebuh Keng Kwee Teochew cendol., which is not so translucent and not jelly-like.

The cendol was also very very lemak i.e full of fresh coconut milk (santan). However, this also meant the gula melaka (palm sugar) fragrance was somehow slightly overshadowed.
