Joo Hooi cafe is normally always packed because it's so close to Komtar and very easy to find. Most of the patrons are local tourists, I think.
Char Kway Teow with duck egg. RM5.50 I think. Can't remember.
It was pretty good.
The laksa in this cafe is said to be good too. I tried it too long ago so no comment on this one. I will try it when I have a chance in the future.
This cafe is just next to the famous Teochew cendol stall. If you order the cendol for consumption inside the cafe, you have to pay an additional 50 sen!
